Any cancellation made by the hirer for whatever reason should be communicated as soon as possible in writing. |

In the event of cancellation every effort will be made to re-let the cottage but if a substitute cannot be found, the hirer will be responsible for paying the period of tenancy booked. |

If the cottage is re-let for the whole period, all monies paid will be refunded less a charge of £50 per week booked (to cover extra advertising, marketing and administration costs due to the cancellation). For this reason the purchase of holiday cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. |

Any booking for the cottage can be treated as cancelled if the balance of payment is not sent by the date agreed on the booking. |

Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control a full refund will be given.
