Kittiwake Cottage is situated in the picturesque hamlet of Cove, perched on the cliff tops about 5 miles south of Dunbar, Scotland. It is within easy reach of the A1 and also benefits from excellent rail links. The property is ideally located for exploring the many sandy beaches, castles and superb golf courses along the East Lothian and Berwickshire coastlines.

The holiday cottage was completed in Summer 2004 and combines all the benefits of a modern, spacious, purpose-built holiday home with traditional features including oak floors and finishes, a wood burning stove and secluded patio garden. The property has been designed as an "upside down" house to take advantage of the stunning panoramic views. From the cottage it is a short walk to Cove Harbour, down the cliff path and through the tunnel in the cliffs before emerging at the Harbour with its small sandy beach and excellent rockpools.

The accommodation downstairs consists of three spacious bedrooms, a family bathroom and a utility room with access to the fully paved sun terrace at the rear of the property.

All towels and bedding are supplied.

The master bedroom is a double room with generous fitted wardrobes and ample drawer space. It has an en-suite shower room. There are lovely sea views from the double windows. A shaver point, clock radio and hairdryer are included.

The second bedroom is a twin room with a freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers. It looks over the adjoining lane towards traditional fishermen's cottages.

The third bedroom has bunk beds and a separate single bed. There is also a pull out bed if required. There is generous wardrobe and drawer space and additional storage is supplied beneath the bunk beds. A selection of children's books and games is supplied, including beach toys. This is a lovely bright, sunny room with a dual aspect view over the sea and cliffs.

The ground floor utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. An iron and ironing board are also provided. Access via patio doors leads to a fully paved secluded sun terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
